Mike Hattabaugh became a follower of Christ in his senior year of high school. Called to ministry two years later, he and his wife Mary went to New Orleans Baptist Seminary and then were called to New Mexico in 1991. Mike has served as a Youth Pastor, Music Pastor (a LONG time ago), Church Planter and Senior Pastor for over 30 years of ministry. He completed his D.Min. at Gateway Seminary in 2001 and has taught communication and leadership courses at several colleges. He currently serves as one of our counselors at New Life Counseling. He runs HERO Marriage, where he gives Marriage weekends, courses and coaching.
Mike loves serving pastors by listening and supporting them. He has helped churches, institutions and businesses discover their leadership styles and develop effective plans to create a vision, direction and long-term stability. Mike has served on church staffs of nearly every size, from solo pastor to large church environments. His desire is to encourage and minister to pastors and their families.
